We had a GREAT time camping! The ONLY thing that went wrong was we forgot Andy's bike.....and this was the best campground ever for him to ride his bike in. But, other than that it was wonderful. The weather was perfect. There weren't very many people in our campground and it was the prettiest campsite! The lake surrounded us on three sides.
We hiked up to a bluff that overlooked the Arkansas River. We kept hearing something REALLY loud and couldn't figure it out until we looked down in the trees you could barely see a train!
On Sunday, we got to go on a beautiful boat. It was awesome. That was a great way to cap off the weekend. It was a wonderful cabin cruiser with two bedrooms and a full kitchen. David and Pebble were great hosts. They took us out on the lake for a long time and took us by our campsite. ....so we got a view of our campsite from the lake. Not only did we get a cool boat ride, but we got to spend time with two awesome people.
We went out to eat lunch at Big Daddys on the Dam Highway. LOL. Really. And then our trip was over. It was a great time and now we have a lot of really good memories.
